Postal Service Disruption
With the possibility of a national postal strike, we want to minimize the impact on our customers and vendors. What Town of Wainwright citizens, vendors and customers need to know:
• With potential mailing disruption, the Town cannot mail utility bills, notices, or account information to customers. Starting today, outgoing mail will be held at the Town Office for pick up.
• Payments are still due on the specified date, and late penalties will apply.
• The best way for customers to receive their invoices is to sign-up for email billing. Please contact the Town Office at 780-842-3381 to sign up.
• The best way for vendors to receive payment is to sign-up for direct deposit. Please contact the Town Office at 780-842-3381 to sign up.
• Mail that is addressed to the Town of Wainwright can be dropped off at the Town Hall, 1018 – 2 Avenue, during regular business hours, or placed in the after-hours drop box located at the Town Office entrance.
• Anyone who is uncertain about an outstanding invoice or payment is encouraged to contact the Town Office at 780-842-3381.
