Legislative and Administrative

Legislative and Administrative Services include the following areas:

  • Mayor and Councillors
  • administrative services
  • municipal elections
  • municipal census
  • records management and FOIP

Primary functions include:

  • support services to assist the Mayor and Councillors in carrying out their duties;
  • agendas, minutes and communication of Council decisions;
  • financial management, control and reporting;
  • risk management and insurance;
  • manages accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll;
  • municipal election and census;
  • records management, Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, policies and bylaws;
  • variety of services relating to the operation of the Wainwright Cemetery.
