Vision
Wainwright & District is a caring community that respects the uniqueness and intrinsic worth of all its members, and empowers them to be active in the life of the community. We value family cohesion, support youth in realizing their potential, acknowledge the legacy of our elders, promote volunteerism and work hard to ensure that all citizens experience a high quality of life.
Mission
Our mission is to increase the quality of life for our community through volunteerism, awareness, information and preventative programming.
Family & Community Services is responsible for:
- Programs designed to inform the public of available services
- Services designed to promote, encourage and support volunteer work in the community
- Services that enhance the quality of life for seniors
- Services that enrich and strengthen family life by developing skills in people to function more effectively within their own environment
- Services that promote the social development of children, youth and their families
